Born from real experience
Cafe Barnabas: our proving ground.
American Boba was born from approximately 14 years of hands-on specialty beverage retail experience at Cafe Barnabas in Topeka, Kansas. Bubble tea and specialty beverages became the operating laboratory: developing drinks, serving guests, training teams, managing inventory and learning what customers actually reorder.
COVID-era supply disruptions turned an operator frustration into a manufacturing question: why depend on a distant commodity supply chain for products we understand deeply as beverage professionals?
